We are delighted to be part of Black Sheep Brewery’s new beer launch in support of Leeds Rhinos legend, Rob Burrow, to raise awareness of Motor Neurone Disease at its home brewery in Marsham.

Rob, who was sadly diagnosed with Motor Neurone disease in 2019, has been a champion for the Motor Neurone community – raising over four million pounds in the Leeds marathon alone this year.

To raise more vital funds for research, Black Sheep’s new beer ‘Burrow’s Blonde’ will donate ten pence from every pint and bottle sold to the chosen charity. It’s available to buy online now, as well as bars across the UK.

Good Racing Co, a good causes racing club, has also donated a charity racehorse in Rob’s name called ‘Burrow Seven’ as part of the partnership. They attended the event, alongside his relatives, and some of his Leeds Rhinos teammates.

We’re so pleased to have seen such a positive reception within the press, achieving 35+ pieces of media coverage across trade, national, radio and regional to date spreading awareness of this fantastic cause to raise vital funds for charity. It has been featured in Yorkshire Post and in PR Week’s top campaigns this week, with more to come from our ongoing public relations activity to continue to raise awareness of ‘Burrows Blonde’.

Our creative team also captured the event, which involved trying to get the racehorse into the brewery!

Thank you to Black Sheep for allowing us to launch its new beer, we’re really proud to have been part of this in support of such a worthy cause. For more information on our PR services, contact us today.
