With festival season here, lets look back at one of this years earlier festivals – the influencer Olympics, more commonly known as Coachella. What was once seen as just a festival in the desert has now become a key calendar event for brands and influencers to build their profiles and gain awareness.

This blog will cover a round-up of our favourite influencers’ marketing tactics—from deck-out houses to on-site stands, the social event of the influencer calendar year was packed with marketing tactics!

818

Kendall Jenner’s tequila brand 818 has had a prominent presence at the festival for the past few years, and 2025 saw the return of the 818 outpost, an exclusive daytime event that was invite only.

The event transformed into a 1970s-themed “Autocamp Soirée,” where guests could drink signature 818 cocktails, and purchase limited-edition merchandise. With everything 818 branded, it was hard for anyone with a social presence to miss content from this pop up!

Whitefox

Very few influencers purchase their own tickets for Coachella, the deal is that brands often invite them in return for content and no brands quite have this down as well as the fashion brands. This year, Whitefox boutique was a clear standout.

From inviting the very best of the UK beauty and fashion scene, to ensuring there was a constant flow of fashion content promoting discount codes, the brand hit it out of the park.

Sip margs

Influencer royalty Alix Earle recently launched her own business by stepping into RTD marketing with her new line of canned margaritas.

With Alex herself dominating the influencer scene at the moment, she leveraged her own audience and circle of fellow tier one influencers to capture and share content.

Although Coachella is one of the biggest events, which attracts the biggest names, there are still key elements we can take away from it. The main aspect is that it is key to know where your audience is and where they are looking.

These brands know that their key audience is either at Coachella or has all eyes on it! Either way, people are paying attention and brands are leveraging this attention and making the most of it. Sometimes it isn’t about the direct campaign, it’s about knowing who’s watching!

We work with a variety of brands on their influencer marketing, helping them to expand brand awareness, prompt purchase and create engaging content. Get in touch today to find out how we could help you. Call us on 0113 430 4160 or drop us an email: hello@prohibitionpr.co.uk
