What is Northern Powerhouse?
The Northern Powerhouse is the Government’s vision for a super-connected, globally-competitive northern economy with a flourishing private sector, a highly-skilled population, and world-renowned civic and business leadership. The Northern Powerhouse Partner Programme is an essential part of creating the Northern Powerhouse. The government is growing a network of partners who all believe strongly in the economic potential of the North, and support the need for a combined effort by government and business to realise that potential.

As a northern based business being part of a programme that showcases how much the North has to offer is something that’s really important to us. We are so pleased to join such an esteemed group of 300 businesses sharing their northern success stories! The programme consists of a variety of businesses from large international organisations to SMEs. As partners we are helping to encourage the continued growth in the region. Our partnership further helps support the initiatives that Northern Powerhouse has laid out including: investing in training and people, improving infrastructure, creating a well-established environment for businesses.
