Exhibition design that stops people and gets them talking
Updated October 2026.
Prohibition designs and builds exhibitions, pop-ups, brand stands and installations that people remember, and then we make sure the media and social feeds see them too. For Yorkshire Water we created the Cabinet of Curiosities, a one-day gallery of things pulled from Yorkshire’s sewers in Trinity Leeds. It reached a 69,000-footfall day, landed on BBC Look North and contributed to a 6% reduction in blockages.

What exhibition design services do we offer?

Graphics, signage and stands
Wall graphics, labels, banners, trade show stands and point of sale, designed by our design team.

We design for the story, not just the stand
Every installation we build is planned as a PR moment. Our sewage-powered pub for Yorkshire Water ran for three days in Leeds and reached a combined 72.5 million readers, with five broadcast hits including ITV Calendar.

Design, PR and content in one team
We plan, design and promote your exhibition in-house, through event PR, social media and video production, so it draws a crowd and lives on afterwards.
How much does exhibition design cost?
It depends on the size of the space, materials, build and installation, any interactive or digital elements, how long it runs and how much promotion you want. We give you a written quote after a first call, or you can contact us now.

Where might you see exhibition designs or pop-up events?
The most common places tend to be parks, museums, art galleries, streets or shopping/visitor centers.
Why is the design of an exhibition or pop-up event so important?
First and foremost, your exhibition booth is the first thing attendees will see when they enter the event. A well-designed booth can grab their attention and draw them in, while a poorly designed one won’t spark curiosity and they’ll keep walking. Your booth should reflect your brand, showcase your products or services, and provide a welcoming environment for attendees.
Secondly, a well-designed exhibition booth can help you stand out from the competition. At events, there are often many other companies vying for attendees’ attention. Having a unique and eye-catching booth can help you cut through the noise and attract more visitors. It’s important to consider not only the visual design of your booth but also how it will function and flow for attendees.
Thirdly, exhibition designs can help you communicate your message and showcase your products effectively. Your booth should be designed with your target audience in mind, with messaging and visuals that resonate with them. It should also be functional, with displays that make it easy for attendees to view and interact with your products.
Finally, exhibition designs can help you create a memorable experience for attendees. Events are about more than just selling products or services – they’re about creating connections and building relationships. A well-designed booth can help you do that by providing a space where attendees can engage with your brand and learn more about what you have to offer.
