Black Sheep is a Yorkshire-based independent award-winning brewery that champions quality cask beer.
Since its founding in 1992, sadly the cask beer category has taken a decline in popularity. As part of the Drink Cask Beer series, we created “The renegade in the round” – a piece of spoken word poetry exploring the artisan roots and unique flavour profiles of cask, written by up-and-coming local poet and musician, and delivered in Black Sheep’s home town of Masham by young actress, Chantelle Pierre.
