The three phases of crisis management are: Crisis Preparation, where audits and communications training are carried out, and a strategy is put in place to counter issues that may spring up in the future; Crisis Response, where a quick, short-term plan is devised to tackle present online or offline issues; and Crisis Recovery where certain practices are implemented to help the brand revive its image when the situation has been properly dealt with.
